Reiki Practitioner, Amy Fan
Amy Fan is a Reiki Practitioner certified by the Reiki Alliance in the Usui System of Natural Healing. Her teacher and mentor is Reiki Alliance Master, Stefanie Hart, founder of Reiki Denver. Amy is committed to continuing her knowledge and deepening her understanding of Reiki as she prepares to apply as a candidate for Reiki Mastery. She will continue working closely with Stefanie throughout this process, as Reiki Mastery is a lifelong commitment. Amy believes Reiki has and continues to transform her life. She says,” I feel I am becoming the person I am intended to be through Reiki. For me, the feelings of well-being and balance were almost instantaneous after my first treatment and class. I feel a strong need to share Reiki with other people and provide a complimentary healing path for people who wish to restore balance and wellness in their lives.”
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Amy has close to fifteen years of counseling experience and helping people heal in more traditional ways. She says, “Reiki enables people to seek help and healing without necessarily disclosing what the problems are. People often don't even know what the problems are, they just know they feel badly or are sad. Reiki can effectively help restore balanced functioning on every level- physical, mental emotional, spiritual, even social- regardless of age or state of health.”
Amy is a native of Ashe County. She and her husband, Joe, live in West Jefferson where they share their home with their three dogs, Hayley, Lily and Sherman.
